Ideal Weight Chart by Height and Sex
Ideal body weight for each height, for men and women. Because the classic formulas disagree, each value is shown as a range across all four — treat it as a healthy target zone, not a single number.
How to use this chart
Find your height and read the range for your sex. It spans the Robinson, Miller, Devine and Hamwi formulas, which were each derived differently — so a healthy target usually sits somewhere within the range. Frame size, muscle and age all shift what is right for an individual.

Methodology
Each range is the lowest and highest of the Robinson, Miller, Devine and Hamwi ideal-body-weight formulas for the given height and sex, computed with this site's unit-tested function and rounded to the nearest pound. These formulas were originally developed for clinical use; a healthy weight is better thought of as a range. For your figures and the healthy-BMI range, use the ideal weight calculator. This is general information, not medical advice.
